010112新年談新的創造

 今年這新年的初一之日，又逢著主日，弟兄姊妹聚集一堂，在教會一起敬拜，歡欣讚美將榮耀歸於上帝，真是在地如天。繼慶祝耶穌降生的聖誕節後，馬上就能以蒙恩在基督裏成為新創造的人，在這新年之日來思想這位第二亞當所完成的救贖之工，肯定新創造的意義，享受新創造的福份，當然迎接新年是好事，是當讚頌的。

 鑑於屬於「新年」的聖詩實在很少，我在著名聖詩詩人Havergal, Frances Ridley﹝1836 -79﹞的聖詩作品中有新年一首，將它譯成台語，在今天的崇拜中齊唱。調借衛斯理﹝S.S.Wesley﹞作Aurelia的韻律就能適時如意吟唱了。願主賜福，順將原文與譯文列之如下：

An-oth-er year is dawn-ing; 又一年已經到位
Father, let it be, 願天父旨意成
In work-ing or in wait-ing, 無論工作等待中
An-oth-er year with Thee; 又一年偎靠祢
An-oth-er year of pro-gress, 又一年欲又進步
An-oth-er year of praise, 又一年欲讚美
An-oth-er year of prov-ing 又一年欲又顯明
Thy pres-ence all the days; 是祢日日引導

An-oth-er year of mercies, 又一年承受憐憫
Of faith-ful-ness and grace; 承受不變恩惠
An-oth-er year of glad-ness 又一年又欲歡喜
In the shin-ing of Thy grace; 發光在人面前
An-oth-er year of learning 又一年又欲學習
Upon Thy lov-ing breast; 在祢心懷長成
An-oth-er year of trust-ing, 又一年又欲順服
Of quiet, hap-py rest; 惦靜歡喜自在

An-oth-er year of serv-ice, 又一年又欲服事
Of wit-ness for Thy love; 欲見證祢的疼
An-oth-er year of train-ing 又一年接受訓練
For ho-lier work a-bove. 欲作祢的聖工
An-oth-er year is dawn-ing: 又一年已經到位
Father, let it be, 願天父旨意成
On earth or else in heav-en, 在地或是在天呢
